Caregiver Volunteers of Central Jersey is a non-profit interfaith organization that provides volunteers to assist frail elderly with simple daily tasks enabling them to live, with dignity, where they are most comfortable--in their own homes.
Who are the Volunteers? Your Friends and neighbors who are motivated because they are: --Generous people who share a responsibility for others --People with a genuine concern for older disabled individuals --Trained men, women, young adults and youth who can give non-medical support to the homebound Our Programs - CaregiverKids: The intergenerational arm of Caregiver Volunteers.
- Alzheimer's Respite Care Program: temporary relief for family care givers
- Outreach to Seniors of Diverse Cultures: addresses language barriers for non English speaking seniors, specially trained Alzheimer's Respite Care Volunteers.
Upcoming Events: *September 19--Caregiver Volunteers Gala *October 17, 2006--Restaurants who care (10 restaurants in Ocean County will donate part of their profits from anyone who dines there on that night)
